Your agents build fast. Make sure they build what you decided.

Arctena gives your team and coding agents one source of truth for product decisions—what's proposed, what's approved, and why.

PAY-482 Remove ID check from sign-up

Awaiting decision

Decided

In progress

Arctena: Conflicts with DEC-14: ID verification is required by the KYC policy. Needs a decision from Compliance.

Compliance: Keep ID verification. Move it after email confirmation.

Coding agent: Building from 3 approved decisions.

Code is cheap now. Knowing what to build isn't.

Coding agents build exactly what the ticket says. They don't stop to ask whether it contradicts a decision your team made in March.

Decisions live in Jira, Confluence, Slack and people's heads. A proposal from a meeting looks the same as a rule from compliance.

You find out in review: a rejected PR and a ticket back in refinement. Then you pay for the agent run again.

One record of what was decided, and why.

Proposed vs approved

Every decision has a status, an owner and a source. Your team can see what's still a proposal and what's binding.

Conflicts before the sprint

When a ticket contradicts an approved decision or leaves a question open, Arctena asks the person who owns that decision. Every flag points to a specific decision, so there's no noise.

Approved context for agents

Claude Code, Cursor and Copilot read the approved decisions for their task through MCP. When something is missing, they ask instead of guessing.

Works where your team already works.

A comment on the ticket when something needs a decision. Silent otherwise.
GitHub
A check on the pull request when a change breaks an approved decision.

How it works

  1. Capture

Arctena reads decisions from Jira, Confluence and your repo. Everything it finds starts as proposed.

  2. Resolve

When a ticket moves to Ready for agent, Arctena checks it against approved decisions and asks about what's missing.

  3. Approve

A person approves. Nothing becomes binding without a name next to it.

  4. Execute

Agents build from approved context. Their questions and your answers become new decisions.

Under the hood: the Living Product Model, a versioned record of decisions, constraints and their sources.

Example: a shorter sign-up

  1. Design wants to drop the ID check to make sign-up faster.
  2. Arctena flags a conflict with DEC-14, the KYC rule from compliance, and shows where the rule came from.
  3. Product and compliance decide. The decision is saved with an owner and a reason.
  4. The coding agent gets the approved requirement and its acceptance criteria, then builds.
